I can get the trailer up there if I can pick it up Friday eve. and deliver it to Brooksville Sat. morn. (must have a 2" hitch). I am not available to get it back to Clearwater after the event. I did not see it listed under the 'supplies', but as mentioned earlier in the thread, I'll bring the water and ice. Plates too if no one has picked 'em up yet.

If you want to go ahead and put us both down for trailer duty go for it.
If he can bring it up in the A.M. I'll run in one of the earlier groups so I can head back to my place and exchange the 240 for a tow vehicle.

Question: What's the earliest you guys think I could be out of brooksville?
I have to fly to Ohio that day for a project. The implementation date was moved to that sunday morning so I need to fly out sat afternoon (last flight leaves at 4:30, on a crap regional jet). I'm sure I can't make the 1:30 MD-88 flight since that means I'd have to be at the airport by noon or so. Maybe if I autocrossed someone elses car or something so I didn't have to go drop off the S to get the GS-R and ran first run group..
so I either need to skip the event or be able to run first group then get out of there...

Registration doesn't officially close until 10 pm tonight...consider yourself credited.impalanut wrote:I just found out I have to work the weekend of the June event. Can I get credited for the next event or is it too late? Thanks
Wouldn't want to promise anything earlier than 12:30 -- since you're working registration, your work assignment's covered.Dave-ROR wrote:Question: What's the earliest you guys think I could be out of brooksville?

well Finally got a spot .....been checking it all day off and on for a vacant spot to open up... and its all full again
Not my first choice of autocross cars but it will be fun atleast. Driving the wife's 1.nothing liter automatic Chevy Aveo 4dr lol. It might could do well with some swaybars but stock its going to be funny.
there is some hope atleast going to go look at Meaty's miata this weekend But not sure about it yet (waiting to see it still in person) or depending on condition if it will be ready to go in a week.

BIG question I preregistered for the last event at SPC the May 18th event, I had to work so I gave up my spot, how does it work do I run at the next event for free or what..? I didn't get a reimbursement of the 30, so does can that credit get to be used at this event? I just found out that I've got this coming Sat. off so I would like to come out to the Brooksville event, especially since I got the Miata now
, I did see that registration is full, but I'm coming out early and was wondering if the credit from the last event could be applied to this event. Can someone please let me know what I need to do. Thanks -Matt

Yes -- you have a $30 event credit. Next time you register for an event, select the payment option "For people with prior event credit".floridarex wrote:...how does it work do I run at the next event for free or what..?
Unfortunately as you realized, Brooksville is limited by both the number of people we can bring on-site and the need to submit an access roster...but you can certainly use the credit next month at SPC.

All,
Second post on FAST...
Luckily, it looks like I will be attending this event.
It will be my first in ~4 years-I need an autocross fix!
Hopefully the rust won't be too hard to shake off...if it was...I will be the one in the spinning red Corvette...
Usually try to arrive early so if a helping hand is needed...

crap, I need someone to take over my job at the event. I won't make it, just can't make it work out with the business trip I now have to take, and even though I tried, I can't delay a $500K project for an autocross
See you all in July hopefully.
Sorry guys, short notice I know, this project was delayed due to power issues at the data center so I didn't think it would be moved up.
