The drive home suuuuuucked.

Thanks all for putting on another good event.

I agree about the drive, but more due to the weather. Being at wear bars on the highway on RE-71's is very scary. I had to drop my speed to around 60 because I felt the car just gliding over the water. Kinda spooky :pale: .

:headscratch: Apparently the modern AWD is inferior to the ones in '90's cars with mechanical LSD's and magic oil in the transfer case? R DOT tires only had two rain grooves driven to and from local events. They did take longer to stop tho' even with ABS.

I blame the -3.9 camber up front. That's pretty much like having 1 and a half rain grooves.

Gotcha. Never known anyone who didn't change camber and toe for the highway or just trailer the car to and from events to save the tires. A first for everything. :salute:

no problem with having newbies in the passenger seat,

except my driving shows them what they should not be doing! :wise:

I think the newbie that Dan stuck in my car in my first ever run on the non-grip Dunnellon surface got more than she was promised.

She said at the beginning that she didn't want to spin, which I replied that hopefully we wouldn't.

Sure enough, first run on the way to the cross over the rear gave out, and as we were mid spin I looked at her and said "I lied."

So which freaked her out more - the spin, or the fact that you were looking at her and talking in mid-spin?

still trying to perfect my looking ahead.

so during the turn around, I look out the side windows.

When performing an envelope pushing spin, should I be looking out the rear window? :dunno:

Philip got the Season Points updated! :notworthy:

Just three events left, and lots of tight competition.

Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.
