What is the turn around time for the rotiforms? Hopefully the weight is reasonable. If they are under 20 lbs, it would be perfect.

Didn't want to try 17x9 with the same offset? Especially if the ruleset allows the wider option when you compete in scca too?

I think 9” will rub with a 245 tire- the fronts would be fine though - the good thing about 17” the re 71r’s are over $400 per set cheaper. They told me 4 weeks

You know if they clear your brakes? I'm thinking you have the performance package front rotors (?). If you do, some 17s clear them, some do not.
Edit
The PP package rotors used to be 340mm vs 312mm for the standard GTI brakes. The larger rotor along with the related caliper causes some fitment concerns. If you shop wheela on tire rack, they ask you 'which brake setup' on their form

I think with your rotiforms being et40 may help vs the commonly sold et45 wheels, but find out about the inner barrel clearance with how the wheel is designed and offset clearance. I know some wheels like the rpf1, they start sloping inward due to the spokes which makes them big brake unfriendly without spacers

If you look at the backside of say a te37 vs an rpf1, you'll see what I mean on the design.

OEM VW 17s wheels all seem to clear R/PP brakes, but are so heavy :bangwall:
