Great fun on the course... Slalom practice was a great help. I am having a really hard time getting used to the black beater.. BTW going home on the veterans was bizarre I saw rivers of muddy water flowing across the road. Thank you nearly new ZII's for having very good wet weather grip!

I had a blast. Didn't get a clean run in until the last run, but it was worth it.
My car on the other hand was not happy. I think the alternator bit the dust.
I was on the side of the road until almost 3:00.

Fun day! It was great to be back. A 1.8 on stock suspension is more fun to drive than a 1.6 on coil-overs.

Many of our courses have a few tight turns that kill the 1.6. The 1.8 does much better with the courses.
Rick -- what differential do you have on your car? If you're still running the open or viscous diff that originally came with the 1.6s, there's your answer in tight corners.

I already gave you that: plug some guys from the top of the time charts into these cars and see what changes. I'll even offer to run the test from the other end: put whoever's concerned into my car and see what effect that has ...

I just got back from the Doctor... I defiantly have a concussion. Stupid ER didn't even run the tests. So I am going to reregister and we will see if it is okay next week.

As many of you have heard my beloved Miata was struck down by a hit and run driver. This leaves me without a ride. I was going to pass on this event but Loren is talking me into keeping my perfect attendance award LOL.
