Perhaps this month we get an estimate as to where they are and mark it on the template?Loren wrote:At Brooksville, the blocks are 25x12.5, you've got 150 feet of width, and probably 2000 feet of length. Only thing I'm not sure of is where the off-course obstacles are.

I know of the Big Green Box (BGB?) but where the broken concrete is off to the side is a mystery to me. Somewhere up the right hand side nearer the "other end" is all I know for sure.Loren wrote:Only thing I'm not sure of is where the off-course obstacles are.
The Jag complains about autoX by throwing Gearbox Faults.

Wow, and I ws thinking exactly that before I got to this post.Loren wrote:I think a one-way course would be cool, but it brings with it the problem of getting everyone back to the start line again.
One solution that I like would be to design a course that can easily be run in both directions. Run the entire grid through one run (so that they're all at the other end), then reverse the timer cables and send them all back through to the other end. Do that 3 times for 6 runs (effectively on two different courses). We should be able to maintain the usual 25-30 second start interval doing it that way no matter how long the course is, so it wouldn't add any time.
That would be different and fun.
think alike, drive....diferent. AHHH another opportunity to excell
